The Warsaw Pact Is Formed

The Warsaw Pact was a treaty that was signed on May 14, 1955. There were many countries that were involved in this treaty. These countries consisted of Albania, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania and the Soviet Union. There are other names for this treaty like Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance. This treaty was like military alliance between most of the communist nations in the eastern part of Europe.In the treaty they set different boundaries for the different countries.
